The five that decide most matches
- Register with real ID at least 48 hours before your first match.
- 15 registered players minimum, 25 maximum, captain and vice-captain named.
- Arrive 30 minutes early. 15 minutes late is a walkover for the other team.
- The referee’s decision is final and binding on everyone present.
- Report a dispute within 48 hours or it will not be heard.
Competition guidelines can vary these rules. Where they do, the competition’s own guidelines take precedence.
The sanction ladder
- WarningDissent and minor unsporting conduct. Repeats move you up a step.
- Match suspensionVerbal abuse, deliberate fouling.
- Multi-match banRepeated abuse, or a single serious incident.
- Competition expulsionViolence, or repeated serious offences.
- Platform-wide banMatch-fixing, bribery and corruption — plus referral to sporting authorities and law enforcement.
01Player Registration
Real ID, 48 hours before your first match. Under-18s need guardian consent.
- Every player must be registered with valid identification before taking part in an official competition. Registration requires a government-issued ID, a recent passport photograph, and accurate personal details including date of birth and contact information.
- Players under 18 must provide written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
- Registration must be completed at least 48 hours before a team’s first scheduled match.
- Any player found to have given false information at registration is disqualified immediately and may be banned from future competitions on the platform.
02Team Composition
15 players minimum, 25 maximum. Short on the day is a forfeit.
Squad sizes are set by each competition. For standard football competitions:
| Requirement | Standard football | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum squad | 15 registered players | Below this, a team cannot be entered |
| Maximum squad | 25 registered players | Set before the registration deadline |
| Captain | Required | Named before the competition starts |
| Vice-captain | Required | Named before the competition starts |
| Squad changes | Transfer or amendment windows only | Dates published by the organiser |
Short of players on the day is a forfeit.A team that cannot field the minimum for a match forfeits it. Repeated forfeits can mean removal from the competition.
03Match Rules
FIFA rules. Arrive 30 minutes early; 15 minutes late is a walkover.
- Standard FIFA rules apply unless the competition organiser specifies otherwise. Match duration, substitution limits and other sport-specific regulations are published in the competition guidelines before the competition starts.
- Matches are played at the designated venue at the scheduled time. Teams should arrive at least 30 minutes before kickoff.
- A grace period of 15 minutes is allowed. After that the opposing team is awarded a walkover.
- Match officials have final authority over every decision made during play. Their decisions are binding on players, team officials and spectators alike.
04Fair Play
Sanctions scale from a warning to a lifetime ban. Match-fixing is expulsion.
Sanctions are proportional to the offence. This is the ladder:
| Offence | Typical sanction | Escalates to |
|---|---|---|
| Dissent, minor unsporting conduct | Warning | Match suspension on repeat |
| Verbal abuse | Match suspension | Multi-match ban |
| Deliberate fouling | Match suspension | Competition expulsion |
| Violence | Competition expulsion | Platform-wide ban |
| Match-fixing, bribery, corruption | Immediate expulsion | Referral to sporting authorities and law enforcement |
Good sportsmanship is recognised too — fair play awards are made at the end of each competition.
05Competition Formats
League or knockout. The competition guidelines set the points and tiebreaks.
Competitions run as a league (round-robin) or a tournament (knockout). The exact format, rules and points system are published in the competition guidelines before the first match.
League
- Teams earn points for wins and draws.
- Ties are broken by goal difference, then goals scored, then head-to-head record, and if still level, a playoff.
Knockout
- Drawn matches may go to extra time and penalties, as the competition rules specify.
Formats can change in exceptional circumstances.Adverse weather, an unavailable venue or too few entered teams may force a change. Organisers tell every team as early as they can.
06Dispute Resolution
48 hours to report · 7 working days to a ruling · 72 hours to appeal.
Four fixed steps, on a clock everyone can see.
| Step | Deadline | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Report | Within 48 hours of the match | Submitted in writing on the platform, with a description of the incident, supporting evidence and the resolution sought |
| 2. Hearing | — | Both parties are given the chance to present their case |
| 3. Ruling | Within 7 working days | Delivered by a disciplinary committee appointed by the organiser |
| 4. Appeal | Within 72 hours of the ruling | Only where new evidence emerges that was not available at the hearing |
